Product Details
A moulded fibre container is pressed as a single part, so the compartment walls, the rim, the hinge and the front locking tab all come out of the tool together. There is no glued seam to soak through and no film liner to separate before recycling, which is why this format has displaced coated board and foam across takeaway, meal prep and food service.
Grease and moisture resistance come from a PFAS-free treatment rather than the fluorochemicals now restricted across the EU and several US states. Bagasse gives a naturally lighter tone; recycled paper fibre gives the warmer kraft tone. Compartment count, depth, lid style and footprint are all set by the tool, so the container is built around the meal it holds.

- Is the grease and moisture treatment PFAS-free?
- Yes. We use a PFAS-free treatment rather than the fluorochemicals now restricted in the EU and several US states, and it holds grease resistance without a plastic lining.
- Is the container approved for direct food contact?
- Yes, it is produced to FDA and EU 1935/2004 food-contact requirements, with declarations issued per order.
- Bagasse or recycled paper fibre — what is the difference?
- Bagasse is sugarcane residue and gives a naturally lighter tone with home-compostable grades available. Recycled paper fibre gives the warmer kraft tone. Both are moulded on the same tooling, so the choice is about appearance and the compost claim you need.
